Buyer's Review : Fun beginner helicopter
This was my second helicopter, it was on sale at a discount store. It's comparable to the Syma s107g but lower performance but more flashy. Search for Syma s107 and don't pay more for this than you would a Syma.
The lights are bright and it's fun to fly in the dark. You can also switch off the lights and get more battery life.
I have charged mine with the USB charger for a Syma a few times with no issue.
Its pretty robust. I basically let my two year old son crash it into the ceiling all day long and only have to repair it once a week. You can get spare parts from protocol. They would not be too expensive but there's no cheap shipping option so it ends up kind of high. Not as cheap or easy to get as Syma parts.
It's much more plastic than metal but there are a few metal frame pieces.
At the end of the day the Syma s107 is superior but this one has some fun features.
